Job Title:  Coordinator Migyera – UWESO Migyera

Job Summary:

Responsible for planning the overall delivery of UWESO- Migyera programs in accordance with the mission and the goals of the organization.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop farm infrastructure
  • Manage land use within Migyera
  • Oversee estate maintenance, repairs and renovations
  • Coordinate Livestock Management
  • Coordinate activities of the school, the farm, vocational school with the headquarter
  • Ensure Compliance to Agricultural regulations and good practices
  • Conduct risk assessments and inspections and come up with suggestions to avoid and mitigate
  • Prepare and manage Estate budgets
  • Foster positive team dynamics among the workforce within the facility
  • Maintain records for the estate and keep them updated at all times
  • Develop periodic reports for the attention of your supervisor
  • Any other assignment on behalf of UWESO provided by your supervisor

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • A Degree in Agro Business development field, Social Sciences, Business Administration or any other related field candidate with diploma in agriculture or veterinary related courses with more than 2 years’ at Managerial experience are encouraged to apply
  • A postgraduate diploma in project management will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge and experience in business development will be an added advantage.
  • Computer Literacy and Documentation Skills are a must have, ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently is required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Accurate attention to detail
  • Goal-oriented, organized team player
  • Ability to work well with management and staff at all levels
