Job Title: Coordinator Migyera – UWESO Migyera
Job Summary:
Responsible for planning the overall delivery of UWESO- Migyera programs in accordance with the mission and the goals of the organization.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop farm infrastructure
- Manage land use within Migyera
- Oversee estate maintenance, repairs and renovations
- Coordinate Livestock Management
- Coordinate activities of the school, the farm, vocational school with the headquarter
- Ensure Compliance to Agricultural regulations and good practices
- Conduct risk assessments and inspections and come up with suggestions to avoid and mitigate
- Prepare and manage Estate budgets
- Foster positive team dynamics among the workforce within the facility
- Maintain records for the estate and keep them updated at all times
- Develop periodic reports for the attention of your supervisor
- Any other assignment on behalf of UWESO provided by your supervisor
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A Degree in Agro Business development field, Social Sciences, Business Administration or any other related field candidate with diploma in agriculture or veterinary related courses with more than 2 years’ at Managerial experience are encouraged to apply
- A postgraduate diploma in project management will be an added advantage
- Knowledge and experience in business development will be an added advantage.
- Computer Literacy and Documentation Skills are a must have, ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently is required
- Excellent communication skills
- Accurate attention to detail
- Goal-oriented, organized team player
- Ability to work well with management and staff at all levels
