The Uganda Women’s Effort to Save Orphans (UWESO) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Jolly Kamugira Kaguhangire as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective 1st January 2024. Mrs. Kaguhangire will assume responsibility for the leadership and management of the overall operations of UWESO
Education Background
Mrs. Kaguhangire holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership and Management, Post Graduate-Diploma in Management, Post Graduate Diploma in Tax and Revenue Administration, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting Option, and other certifications among which: Board Governance, Senior Management Development, Senior Management Leadership Development, Compliance Management in Revenue Administration.
Professional Background
She brings over 25 years of knowledge, and experience from the Governmental and Non-Governmental Organizations. Prior to accepting this position, she worked with World Bank/IFAD, Uganda Investment Authority (UIA) and Uganda Revenue Authority (URA). She is well conversant with best practices in Operations Management, change management, leadership, Policy design and formulation, Corporate Brand Development, Project management and stakeholder management.
